FOUR DAYS IN LA-Summary

Several gay men’s lives come together in FOUR DAYS IN LA, a smart and sexy trio of  romantic gay stories.  Although each story has it’s own share of love, lust and longing, they each have a dominant theme.

LOVE:
Anthony and Shane are best friends who work at a gym.  Barry is Anthony’s cheating ex who shows up at the gym one night begging for a second chance.  When Anthony shuts him down, Barry let’s it slip that Anthony has had a two year hopelessly devoted crush on straight Shane.  Initially, they brush it off as the ravings of a jilted ex.  But over the next day and a half, Shane begins to realize that Barry was speaking the truth, and Anthony is hopeless to deny it.  After a tense workout and a shower confrontation that turns brutal, a friendship is strained to the limit.  But out of it comes new understandings of what it means to be a friend, what it means to be mature.  And what it takes to get a romance back on track.

LUST:  Jeremy is a lonely and mysterious rich guy.  Desperately striking out at every bar he goes to, he decides that if he doesn’t have the looks, the muscles or the gym memberships of his competition, he still needs to put his best foot forward.  And that’s his money.  So he pays Taylor, a hot gay bar stripper, to head back to his mansion to dance for him.  But what Taylor doesn’t realize is that Jeremy has a secret - and a secret agenda.  And for Taylor, what starts out as a PRETTY WOMAN-style dream come true ends up being a terrible mistake and horrifying nightmare.

LONGING:
Rick Johnston is almost ready to leave LA behind him.  In his youth, he was a talented actor who never got a break.  But now a Hollywood room dancer and aging call boy, he’s got his bags packed and a permanent move to Vegas lined up.  He’s only waiting for his car to get fixed so he can take off for good.  Or is there something else that keeps him here, something he can’t quite get out of his system?  After a particularly seedy encounter with a client, Rick reaches the end of his rope.  Until his buddy calls with an invite to be a paid ‘party model’ at one of superstar Billy Sharkey’s legendary Hollywood blowouts.  Rick takes the job and impresses a producer who gives him one final shot at being a legitimate actor.  Dripping with atmosphere and filled with vivid characters you’ve only heard about, Rick’s story is funny, sarcastic and sexy, finally culminating in a highly dramatic showdown as his final days in LA turn his world upside down.

WHY IT WILL WORK:  Gay audiences want the same thing that straight audiences want - love stories, characters to root for, drama, comedy, sex and romance.  Plus, it’s got a fistfight, a murder and surprise twists you never see coming.  The script is written in such a way that each character is linked and all three stories are subtly intertwined.  The way the stories brush up against each other is clever and fun.

A lot goes on in these FOUR DAYS.  You won’t want to miss them.
